Tatiara vs Kingston/Lucindale- Under 16
Tatiara started the game with an early run, but some great defending by Troy Horbury made it hard for Tatiara to do anything with the ball. Tatiara managed a short corner, but were unable to convert. Kingston/Lucindale with a bit of a run on but some great defending from Tom and Charley managed to keep it out. One last shot at the end of the 1st Quarter for Tatiara but to no avail.
Second Quarter started with a quick run down the field from Tatiara with a nice pass in from Oisin to Finn and then on to Belinda for a nice goal near the post, to score Tatiara’s first goal. A lot of even play between both sides before a short corner for Tatiara resulted in a goal for Hannah.
Kingston/Lucindale started the third quarter with a run down the field with some nice passing between Mitchell and Sarah. Tatiara Goalie, Piper, stopped the first attempt on goal but couldn’t stop Chris from scoring. Keeping the momentum going K/L scored again with a goal from Mitchell. Tatiara tried to score again but just off to the left from Finn. Some great defending from Corrie for K/L but was unable to stop Oisin to get Tatiara’s third goal.
A fairly even start to the 4th quarter with some great stops by Kingston/Lucindale goalie, Jacqueline. Tatiara with a short corner but unable to convert because of some great defending from Troy and Bree. Tatiara tried again for a goal but the ball just missed everyone by going across the face of the goal. Short corner for K/L but unable to convert with a nice stop from Piper. Plenty of play up and down the field for the rest of the quarter with no one able to score again.

Some even play to start the game with some great defending from Clarry & Nikki from Tatiara as well as Corrie & Kelli for Kingston/Lucindale. A short corner for Tatiara but unable to convert. Once again another short corner for Tatiara, with Laura hitting the back board to get the first goal of the game.
Second quarter started with a run down the field from Tatiara with a pass from Laura to Abbey to Hannah, who finished off with the goal. An attempt at goal for Kingston/Lucindale from Sarah Hamilton, but just went wide. Another short corner for Tatiara, which resulted in another short corner, but Laura was unable to convert.
Third quarter started with a quick run up the field from Angela from K/L resulting in a short corner. Kingston/Lucindale were unable to convert because of some great defending from Clarry and Tatiara goalie, Piper. The quarter ended with more even play and no shots on goals.
Fourth quarter and once again some great defending from both sides. A shot at goal from K/L Sarah Johns but just missed to the left. More play back and forth but Sarah Johns once again had a shot at goal but was nicely saved from Tatiara goalie, Piper. One last short corner for Tatiara, but once again missed the mark. No goals were scored in the last quarter, but not for the lack of trying, from both sides

Tatiara vs Kingston/Lucindale – Men
A strong start by both teams on this still Winter’s night. Both teams came out firing and Kingston/Lucindale were awarded a short corner. A strong push out followed by a great shot into the goal by Connor Butler, and Kingston/Lucindale were on the board.
Tatiara had some quick runs forward, but KL’s Bruce and Craig stood firm in defence. Kingston/Lucindale continued to run forward, but Nathan from Tatiara was holding strong from full back. A quick run forward, saw Tatiara with an opportunity in their goal circle, but after a game of ping pong the ball was whacked up and over the fence.
The second half started evenly with the ball going back and forth to both ends. Both teams were awarded shorts but were unable to convert.
The final quarter brought some exciting action, with a tomahawk goal by K/L’s George. Followed by another goal by K/L’s Ricky after a quick run down the sideline. Tatiara continued to fight but struggled to get the ball into their circle. Another short was awarded to Kingston/Lucindale, who was able to convert a goal through Connor Butler.
A quick turnover for Tatiara saw Danny run the ball into the goal circle with a one on one with the goalie. He managed to get around him and slotted the first goal of the night for Tatiara. The final score was Kingston/Lucindale 4, Tatiara 1, reflecting a hard fought, fast paced game.
