Dartmoor v Greenbottles – Women
The preliminary finals brought some competition between both Greenbottles and Dartmoor.
Dartmoor were settled and strong at the start of the match. Green’s had a good defence line and were manning up players well. Dartmoor started using the wide balls with great passing and leading into the forward line.
Dartmoor kept bringing the ball down with great team work and although Greenbottles put up a strong defence, Darts were able to get through to score their first goal.
Dartmoor attacked strong but Greenbottles defence kept the 2nd quarter scoreless.
Then the 3rd quarter brought great passing and teamwork with Dartmoor being able to score a goal early in the quarter.
Later on in the 4th quarter Greenbottles scored their first goal off of a short corner. Leaving the score 2-1.
Greens continued to attack, but Dartmoor managed to keep them out with no more goals scored. This kept the score 2-1 at end time.
