Round 12 – Season 2024
Under 9 – Redlegs v Kingston/Lucindale
The weather was wet, the turf was soggy but the under 9 kids were eager to get warmed up and running.
Due to numbers, Redlegs and Kingston/Lucindale Rangers were up against each other once again. There were a variety of skill levels out on the field and many skilful stick manoeuvres made some impressive ball work to score the first goal for Redlegs.
The ball quickly moved back down the other end of the field passing two redlegs players and after some to and fro, K/L Rangers got it in to score their first goal.
It was an impressive game to watch. The skills of both teams were beautifully matched and it was a proud moment when the older more experienced kids purposefully included the younger kids in the game. The kids should be proud of how much they have learned this season, which is evident in the flow of the game.
Well done to ALL the under 9 players.

The half time reset saw both teams come out and play another even quarter similar to the 1st but another late goal by Eddie was to end the quarter with Darts up by 3.
