The team work was finished off beautifully by a goal from Sarah Fry.
Dartmoor attempted to respond in the third quarter with multiple penetrations into the circle thanks to some wonderful work by Jess Clutterbuck and Catherine Loder, however, the Greenbottles defence proved too strong.

Dartmoor vs Greenbottles – Men
In what threatened to be a wet, cold evening game, reality was much nicer for Greenbottles and Dartmoor men as they squared up on the hockey field.
In great playing conditions the teams both started the game strongly in the first quarter with Greenbottles pressing with some great attacking play. Dartmoor, for the most part, were able to defend gallantly but a great piece of solo play saw Gavin Boord take a clean shot from the top of the circle and belt it in.
Some even play then continued in the second with the Greenbottles attackers just too good at putting in their chances. Half time saw the score balloon to 3-0 Greenbottles way.
Once half time was done Dartmoor managed to get some control of their game and used their players on the bench to much better effect. They managed to turn the momentum and with good pressure were able to convert 2 goals in the third to peg back Greenbottles lead to just one goal.
In the fourth and final quarter however Greenbottles were able to stabilise with some good defence and also rebounded well to score the go ahead goal. Final score 4-2. Great game played by both teams
